You can also find dmp files by typing the following *.dmp in a search screen on your hard drive. Have you tried running diagnostic tests? Trying to narrow down possibilities for rebooting, you could try removing the 460 gtx and just booting from integrated for a while just to see if the problem occurs again because Windows 8's new blue-screen message encourages you to perform a web search for the error message to learn more. Standard software shouldn't be able to cause blue screens -- if an application crashes, it will do so without taking the operating system out with it. This may indicate there's a problem with that specific driver.
