From what I've read, it's actually supposed to restart so quick most people have a difficulty reading what exactly the error says. Next time you get a BSOD you'll be able to see it and able to write down the error message. You'll have to reboot manually when an error appears. However, in this instance Safe Mode wouldn't start up either.
