I resolved the problem. I thought that running in Safe Mode and uninstalling the last update would be the way to go, but not sure how to get into Safe Mode. I updated the drivers and bios. I have ran the built in system diagnostics and the memory test ( took 45 minutes).
When I try to reinstall avast, the computer freezes and gives me that nice blue pretty blue screen. So I have to say, you saved me alot of time! Join the community here. Any suggestion?
